On The Rise is Big Country Q103’s curated breakthrough spotlight featuring rising country artists gaining momentum.
The program includes select independent artists and developing national acts with professionally released, broadcast-ready music that fits today’s hot country lane.
A curated radio feature highlighting breakthrough country artists building momentum. Submission does not guarantee airplay. On The Rise operates as a rotating spotlight designed to give each artist focused exposure.

Each selected artist is featured for a designated window, determined at the discretion of the Program Director that includes official spins on the On The Rise artist segment, placement on the exclusive Spotify Big Country Q103 – On The Rise: Artist Playlist during the active feature period, and consideration for continued exposure through On The Rise: Full Throttle Radio Show.
The artist segment runs during prime hours 6AM–11PM EST where one On The Rise song is featured every hour.
This rotating format allows us to properly introduce new music while keeping Big Country Q103’s Today’s Hot Country sound fresh and listener-focused.
On The Rise is a curated feature highlighting breakthrough country artists who are gaining momentum, including select independent artists and developing national acts earning attention within today’s country music scene.
- Original country music only
- Broadcast-quality audio (WAV or high-quality MP3)

- Artist owns or controls all rights
- Artist actively promoting music
Artist confirms they own/control rights, the track is cleared for digital radio broadcast, and Big Country Q103 may stream the track on its licensed platform. No additional compensation is expected beyond standard PRO royalties.
Airplay frequency, timing, and duration are determined by programming and may change at any time.
No payment is required for consideration. Any optional promotional opportunities (if offered) will be clearly disclosed.
Artists grant permission to mention artist/song on air and reference the artist in promos or social media. Use of images/logos requires permission when applicable.
Due to volume, individual feedback will not be provided. Selected artists will be contacted via email.
Tracks may be rejected/removed for explicit content, broadcast standards issues, technical issues, or licensing conflicts.
